- It is important to note that auth holds can be referred to as "pending transactions," which can sometimes cause confusion for customers who assume that they are a finalized or settled charge. When the final charge or settled charge appears, customers may mistake it for a duplicate transaction. However, it is essential to clarify that the final charge or settled charge is not a duplicate charge, but simply the auth hold clearing.
- In case your order is canceled, it is important to note that it may take up to 7 business days for the auth hold to clear or reverse.
Some helpful information about the Auth Hold on your Gift Card:
- For our customers who use gift cards to make purchases. When you place an order using a gift card, an authorization hold is placed on the card. Once the order is shipped, the funds will be deducted from the gift card balance.
- In the event that you need to cancel an order that was made with a gift card, please note that authorization holds will be lifted after 14 business days. Unfortunately, this 14-day period cannot be expedited. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
