What is a PC9?

At Levi’s®, every product is assigned a unique identifier called a Product Code, or PC9. This code helps identify the style and finish of a garment—making it easier to search, reorder, or reference specific items. The Product Code can also be referred to as the Style #. 

How do I find the PC9?

The Product Code or PC9 can be found in several places, based on where/how you are shopping. Please use the below table to determine how to locate a given PC9 on a garment, on Levi.com, or on the Levi’s® App.

Shopping Channel	Where PC9 is located
On the Garment   Look for the small white “wash & care” label sewn inside the product. The PC9 will appear like this: PC9 00505-4886
Levi’s® Website   From the Product Details Page, you can locate the PC9 directly under the images, at the bottom of the 'About This Style' section
Levi’s® App   From the App, you can scroll down under the image, available washes, sizes, and shipping preferences, you can select the 'About This Product' drop down where the 9 digit product code is listed as Style #.

How To Use PC9 to Search for Items on Levi.com

Note: When searching for a PC9 number on the Levi.com, only enter the numbers following 'PC9' and do not include the 'PC9' prefix. Including the prefix may result in a failed search.

1. Locate the PC9
   • The PC9 can be found on the product detail page (PDP) of the item (instructions listed above for locating PC9 in various channels).
   • The PC9 can also be found embedded in the product URL.
   • The PC9 can also be found in your shopping bag or item description.
2. Using the PC9 in the Search Bar
   • Copy the PC9 once located, and paste the 9-digit number in the search bar at the top of Levi.com.
   • Press 'Enter' or click the search icon.
     
     • Note: When you search for an item - including all 9 digits - the search results will bring up the specific item you are referencing. If you only include the first 5 digits, this will bring up the style and ALL the finishes available for that style.
3. Direct URL Search Method
   • If you have the PC9, you can directly paste it into your browser's URL bar using the following format:
     
     • Format: https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/search?q=<PC9>
     • Replace <PC9> with the actual product code.
       
       • Example: PC9 - 123456789 = https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/search?q=<123456789>

Key Details:

• Some Levi's® Licensed products that are manufactured by a third party (wallets, belts, etc.) may not have a PC9.
• The product Style is identified by the first 5 digits, for example: 00505 = Men’s 505 jeans
• The product Finish is identified by the last 4 digits, for example: 00505-4886 = Men’s 505 jeans in Dark Stonewash
